I went to Washington to visit my family for 3 weeks. We had a lot of fun and am so thankful that I got to spend so much time with them. I already miss them so much and as always wish I could live closer. My parents do a lot for Clif and I and we are so appreciative of everything they do. I know we can't ever repay them, but I want them to know how much we love them and our thankful for their support. When I visit my parents I never remember to get pictures with them! This time, right before we were leaving, I got some pictures with my mom. I never know when I see her if it is going to be the last so I am glad I remembered to do this. It's your turn next dad. I love you both very much, thanks for being wonderful parents!

Photo Shoot
Since we have just been hanging out at home I have been pretty bored and just decided to take pictures of my kids. I could and should be cleaning the house and putting away clothes and unpacking, but I have procrastinated!!
So here is some of the pictures I took. I have a lot more cute ones of them together, they were being so funny! I have been trying to curl her hair more and leave it down. It is so close to being long, yeah!

Here are some of the pictures they got done at Target that aren't on the my main blog picture. We got some good pictures despite their unwillingness to do it!

Potty Training
This week I have tried to stay home and concentrate on getting Spencer potty trained. I will say that I am MUCH closer than I was a week ago. He has only told me one time that he needs to go, but has gone pretty much every time I have made him. He doesn't cry or make a fuss unless he is really tired. Today he said he had to go, which he often does to avoid naps, and he really did. So progress is slow, but it I finally see a end in site.

This is back from when we started introducing him at 14 months! Addy is this age now and she actually has gone in the potty already from watching her brother.. too funny!
When he was almost 2 and I was trying to be more consistent, but he would sit for an hour at a time and nothing!
And this is now. Yeah Spencer! Today he did the best he has ever done.

4th of July- Finally!!
Then why Shian and mom looked at some of the booths we sat in the grass and relaxed. It was a hot day. Gavin shared his cottan candy with us and I must say he is one great sharer!
Then it was up the Mantua Canyon on a four-wheeler with the rest of the family in their jeeps. It was a nice ride and a really pretty view. We stopped to eat some yummy KFC and take a break. Spencer took his shoes off in this nasty mud/seaweed/moss.
often!
Then later that night we did some fireworks. Spencer even did some sparklers thanks to Shian. We will know to get lots next year! It was a fun day and I am glad we were able to spend it with family.
Peace Gardens & Oquirrh Mountan Temple House
June 27th (I think) we met Shian and Tom at the International Peace Gardens. Spencer played on the playground while his wet pants dried in the sun. (He has wet through his diaper so many times in the car. The other day I found this mat you could buy to put on their car seat so you don't always have to wash everything. I am so getting it! I wish I would have known about it before)! Then we walked around and took pictures for Tom and Shian to use in their adoption process. They also took some pictures of us! It was really pretty (I have never been there) and a lot of fun. Tom and Shian are two of my favorite people and I love spending time with them. Thanks for a fun day!
Then it was off to the temple open house. We met Shian, Tom, Tara, and mom there. It was a much better experience with family to help us. I would say next to San Diego this is one of my favorite temples. It has such pretty chandeliers and artwork. I can't wait until it is open for sessions!
