Fun with Sleeping Bags

Daddy showed Spencer and Addy something else to do with their favorite sleeping bags in the world! They are so going to need 2 new ones this Christmas. Who would have thought that sleeping bags would be their most used and love gift!

Pig Tails

I put my sweet Haleigh and Allyson in pig tails when I was visiting my mom. There was barely enough hair to do it and it looked so cute, but I don't think they liked it very much. However, you wouldn't be able to tell from these  cute pictures I got of them before church!

I have so much more to say about these little cuties, but little Haleigh is upstairs crying as I write this.  Hopefully tomorrow I will have some time to do a 9 month old post, but for now I must say I am having so much fun watching them grow-up. I am having a hard time with them being a year already. While I love to see them to learn to crawl and walk and especially talk, it makes me sad that they aren't babies anymore!

Addy had a Birthday (2 months ago!)

On June 1st Addy had her 3rd birthday.
Addy likes:
Milk- no juice for this girl.
My Little Ponies (at this moment, it changes all the time).
Dressing up
Swimming- she is a little fish
Mac and Cheese
Doing crafts
Playing with friends (especially Hailey and Lucy).
Nursery & her church bag
Reading new books
Ballet
Gymnastics
Doing somersaults tricks (when I asked her what tricks she does, she ran to the stairs and jumped into a partial hand stand).
Playing house
Being with her brother
Going to Grandpa/Papa & Grandmas
Singing songs, especially while she is supposed to be going to bed at night.
When asked her favorite thing to do she said, "Playing with my baby sisters."

She still has a little squeaky voice and can be SO loud sometimes.
She has so much energy- the most of anyone in our family!
She is my little princess.
She is very animated.
She laughs at herself all the time.
She has a very kind heart- quick to say sorry and easy to forgive.
She is my  very special girl.

She started off first thing in the morning opening most of her gifts. I am always too excited to wait! (Yes, I did say me).
Opening princesses that we, Grandma White, and Spencer got for her.

Mommy splurged and got her a Sleeping Beauty dress and grown.

My mom got her this great barbie house. I found the deal on woot and she bought it and had it sent to her. Spencer and her played with it all day.

Next Addy and Spencer ate these HUGE, yummy doughnuts!

Then we got dressed, and she got to wear her new princess shirt, but of course had to wear her white skirt and leggings like her sisters.

Then Spencer and her opened another gift from my mom and dad.

Addy got a Baby Alive that she wanted more than any of the other really cute dolls I showed her. She named her Abigail. She would probably use her every day if I would buy her more baby food to feed her.

Spencer got a gift for being a good brother( well, I made that up, but just so he didn't feel left out). He got a magnetic boy set that he has wanted for a long time.

She then opened a few more little gifts from us. She got a princess coloring book, princess kite, skirt, and a bell phone. We wrapped the bell phone in z box of fruit snacks so she had no idea,! She loves that phone and has been sad because she can't find it. I am usually really good at keeping everything organized so we don't lose toys, but she takes this phone everywhere that I have no idea where it could be.

Finally, we had her choice of rainbow cupcakes with rainbow frosting! Happy 3rd Birthday my Princess Addy!

Addy's Summer Performance

Addy had the opportunity (thanks mom) to take ballet at Dancer's Edge this summer. Since we signed her up a few months before it stated she was very excited for it to start!

06-08-11 First Class
She had a great teacher who I just love and was wonderful with her and all the other little girls. You don't get to stay to watch them, but from the little I could see through the window she was always listening and having fun!

06-15-11 2nd class and enjoying her treat!

I tried many times to get her to show me her dance that she was learning. Every once in awhile she would show me something, but for the most part it was little duck feet (1st position) with a pile' and big duck feet (2nd position) with pile'. So needless to say I was very excited for her performance on Thursday, August 18th. I completely love having her in ballet. I loved dancing, but was never a natural at it(mainly due to my hearing loss and not being able to hear the beat very well). However, it is still something that I enjoy watching so much, especially having my own daughter experience it. Unfortunately, for me she isn't going to take ballet anymore. She loved watching her brother do gymnastics so much that she will now be taking gymnastics with him. She is such a flexible girl and will great at gymnastics, but I will miss seeing her dance.

These girls were too cute. I wasn't in a position to get all the girls, but I did get my little one! The reason I am laughing is the teacher kept trying to get them to turn over (towards the end) and they just stayed where they were. I wish they would have let them do it one more time so we could have seen the whole dance, but that is okay, it was still very fun to watch. (She is watching the girls a lot because she missed 2 weeks of practices while we were in Washington).

Getting ready to go on stage
 Lining up in her spot.

 Good-bye dance! So long, farewell!

Moments that Matter Most...

...Are the ones spent with my kids. Even ones like these.
